Common Gateway Interface. It is used to transfer information

for web servers to interact dynamically with users. Many HTML
pages that contain forms, for example, use a CGI program to
process the form's data once it's submitted.

Active Server Pages or ASP is a technology that enables

PHP
PHP (Parser Hypertext Preprocessor) is a server-side, programming
language used to create dynamic web pages. PHP can perform
any task that a CGI program can do, but its strength lies
in its compatibility with many types of databases.

only by one web user.
Protected Directories
Directories or folders on the website where stored
information is unacceptable without special login name and
password.
Scripts / Databases
Script - a list of commands that can run without user
interaction.
Database is any collection of data: part numbers, product
codes, customer information, etc. Information is stored in
a database as a series of records, and each record contains
a number of fields. The database can be automated, can have
